Ducks Unlimited Canada and the Association des gestionnaires de territoires fauniques (A.G.T.F.) de Charlevoix/Bas-Saguenay joined their expertises to develop an approach of zoning riparian areas and hydrosystems in the management of a boreal forest territory, via a case: the territory of the AGTF. In the first of the three phases of the project, we targeted the Rivière du Gouffre watershed which occupies an area of 994 km2 and extends from the mouth of the river on the Saint Lawrence River to the Lac du Gouffre.
